I was first introduced to this book when my daughter was getting ready to head for college. We had attended the freshman orientation where we met with the WISE group that Sarah would be with. They introduced us to the book and let us know that they would be doing a semester long book study on this book. After Sarah read the book, I decided to read it also. Not only does this book tell the story of Henrietta Lacks, but also discusses the moral obligations when doing research.
There is not much on Amazon for a description of the book.
